Understanding the NHTD & TBI Programs

The Nursing Home Transition and Diversion (NHTD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Medicaid Waiver Programs were designed to give people an alternative to nursing home placement.

These programs focus on community-based care, allowing individuals to receive services such as home care, therapy, and support while living at home.
